I want to use location-enabled data in my organization.  Where do I start?  How do we do this?

ArcGIS System Design and Delivery

We can help!

This can be daunting for many information technology people – why?  Because it involves considerations from both the stakeholder/user perspective and the systems and network perspectives – we can help you understand how to approach this in a strategic and sustainable way.

Having been both “customers” and “providers” of all types of technology – having been internal services providers as well as third-party service providers with the use of technology that leverages location in data, we can work with you to help you understand the right type of systems architecture for your organization.  “Systems Architecture” really means the conceptual design as well as the actual physical implementation of the infrastructure (servers, databases and interface devices on a network), as well as all the other parts that serve to deliver the final information “products” to users of the system.  We can help everyone involved understand how this works and help you choose what is best for your organization.

We have hands-on experience with new implementations, system troubleshooting, system audits and validations, as well as remodeling and upgrading older implementations.  We never work with implementations if the stakeholders are not involved.  This would be a guaranteed road to failure.  We have seen many failures in system and software implementations.  These entail lots of wasted time and money.  We help you understand this ahead of time.

We recommend strategic planning ahead of creating and implementing any system designs.
