Gus Nodwell, an IntegraShare Dimensions, Incorporated Director, is working within IntegraShare Dimensions leading Business Development and Projects.
Gus is also the CEO of IntegraShare Solutioneering, Inc., a partner organization with IntegraShare Dimensions.
Gus has analyzed business requirements, designed and developed systems, and managed development work, and implementation projects over a number of years reporting to ‘C–level’ executives, senior management, and project directors across a variety of situations.
Gus has often worked on activities peripheral to major business objectives. For example, planning , implementing, and participating in compliance programs (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, and 30 CFR 250 Subpart S – SEMS), designing, implementing and operating internal audit programs to ensure adherence to processes, metadata taxonomy development, business object modelling, and personnel training management.
He has worked with and managed groups to ensure the operational considerations of projects or day-to-day business activities are working effectively in support of project goals and operational targets.
Gus is critically aware of the importance of information systems designed to enable business success with an eye to the importance of location in nearly 100% of everything undertaken by people in organizations – for these people to succeed, they must have the right tools that closely reflect the processes that they are deploying and the environment within which they operate.
He has recently been involved with the design of software technologies to meet challenges in higher education, capabilities management, and petroleum geospatial data integrity. GIS and location intelligence are core components of all of these solutions.
Gus’ specific areas of expertise include:
- Information management and technology strategy development
- Geospatial data assessments, health-checks, and data governance strategic planning
- Geospatial data modeling
- Business analysis of standalone and integrated business problems, with particular focus on process design and workflows
- Solutions and software design
- Management of software development initiatives
- Business process metrics design, metrics collection, metrics analysis and management reporting
- Liaison with stakeholders at all points in the value chain
- Project management, delivery and systems/solutions implementation
Gus has worked with many organizations world-wide, including MW-Kellogg, Anadarko Algeria Company, and Southern Solutions where he has worked and executed on a wide range of projects and service deliverables.
Gus has worked with organizations helping with understanding the intersections of business process and GIS.
He has worked with our customers at Alta Mesa Holdings, LP (Alta Mesa Resources), Pioneer Natural Resources, and has worked with Texas A&M University, the APSG Education Foundation, and a variety of organizations and individuals in the areas of building better education pathways and conduits for students in the Geospatial Sciences and Technology areas.
In his volunteering capacity, Gus has served as a Director of Strategy on the Board of Directors of the APSG Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the development of geospatial professionals by supporting programs from early-childhood through university phases of education. He also serves on the advisory board for Brookhaven College’s Geospatial Technology Program. He has led projects for fundraising for Montgomery County Court Appointed Child Advocates (CASA) in 2013 and 2014. He spontaneously is the innovative problem solver for people in our community, giving ready help during disaster events and every day. He is an everyday hero to many people everywhere.
